Admission
Admission to the event includes access to reenactors, the village, our three covered bridges, food vendors, and the battle.
$10: 11 and older
$7: Ages 6-10
Free: 5 and younger
Special Event: Saturday Night
Civil War Era Ball and Night Firing
Join us at the pavilion for historic dances, followed by a canon firing at night.
All proceeds go towards village restoration.
All public visitors will enter through the Admissions building.

Purgatory’s Parlor – Gaebler Building
visit, sit down, rest, play games, imbibe in an elixir or tasty treat. Ladies, please come and have tea and biscuits! We have a special section for ladies!
Village Blacksmith – Blacksmith Shop
Visit with the village blacksmith and watch him and his partner in action.
Treen Acres Farm – Beeson Cabin
Learn about spinning wool.
Cool Creek Forge – Sutlers Rowe
Witness forging in action, camp style.
Field Hospital – Livery Barn
Medical equipment of the era during the war was quite different, get a close up look.
Roots, Shoots, and Seeds – By Gaebler Building
Selling heirloom varieties of plants/seeds and be available to answer questions
Tobacconist – Gaebler Building
Learn about tobacco, come in and get your loose tobacco needs met or try a seegar or two!
Newspaper Reporter – Village
Stop and chat to the reporter about what is happening in this era!
Quilting – Schoolhouse Cabin
Visit to learn about quilting during this era and maybe try your hand at weaving.
Rush Creek Broomery – Broom Shop
Brooms are handmade on site and talk about the equipment of the era.
Pottery – Burr Mill
Watch as Chuck uses a kick wheel to create pots, bowls, and plates
Gatlin Gun – Memorial Grove

Yes, we have multiple vendors booked! Find out more information under the “Food Vendors” section of this page.
We can take both cash and card for admission and for purchases in the general store. Most vendors can take card but not all. Please plan to support these vendors with cash.
Due to the busy schedule, we would prefer pets stay at home during this event.
Yes! There will be cannons and other loud equipment being used. Please plan accordingly for your family’s needs.
Yes! Many of the buildings will have events happening within, all others will be open for exploration.
